Amauri B., Zane A., and Emily S. from the Greater Lafayette Career Academy Culinary program joined Emily, Gabbi, and Jo for a flavorful exploration at JKC Breakfast. Leo, our amiable server, demonstrated patience as we perused the menu to make our lunch selections from the extensive array of enticing options. Zane and Emily S. opted not to go with a breakfast item.
Zane stated, "The speed and efficiency of the wait staff is amazing, our server was polite and patient when we were choosing our dish." He got the Mexican Chicken Panini. The chicken was seasoned properly, and the spicy mayo sauce was a good addition and gave a slight zip to the dish.
Emily S. enjoyed her visit to JKC. "Our food and service was wonderful and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. It's a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!"
Gabbi chose the Mexican Skillet and was pleased with how flavorful the dish was. Between the eggs, potatoes, and chorizo paired with the delicious house made salsa she was very pleased with her decision.
Emily opted for the classic JKC Breakfast, featuring perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, ham, and hash browns. The flavors were reminiscent of home, making this traditional breakfast a great choice for those seeking a simple and satisfying meal.
Jo opted for an omelet with jalapeños, spinach, and pepper jack. With no toast, pancakes or hash browns she received freshly cut apples, cantaloupe and pineapples as her side. She shared, "The omelet was cooked to perfection, with just enough spice from the jalapeños to make it tasty without being over the top spicy."
