Historical Districts

There are nine neighborhoods in Lafayette and West Lafayette that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

In some of the older neighborhoods, many of the homes date back to the late nineteenth century although you’ll find a rich and varied collection of architectural styles throughout.

Self-guided walking tours are available for the Centennial, Highland Park and Ninth Street Hill Historic Neighborhoods. These brochures may be picked up at the Visitors Center at 301 Frontage, Lafayette, IN 47905.
