From our team: Our personal favorite is the Indiana Hospitality King Suite. Inspired by Indiana’s rich heritage and Purdue pride, this suite blends black-and-gold touches with handcrafted details that celebrate the Hoosier State. Guests will discover beautiful Amish-made furnishings, a handcrafted Sunbonnet Sue quilt, and thoughtfully chosen décor that reflects the warmth and character of the Midwest. The spa-inspired bathroom is a destination in itself, offering scenic views of the Indiana countryside along with upscale amenities, including a double vanity, heated towel bar, walk-in shower with dual showerheads and an overhead rain shower, and a freestanding Bain Ultra jetted soaking tub perfect for unwinding.

As evening arrives, The Whittaker Kitchen invites guests to enjoy seasonal selections from its rotating dinner menu. Served in the elegant dining room, dinner highlights fresh ingredients and creative culinary offerings that change throughout the year. The dining room is open Wednesday through Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., and reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance. As the day winds down, The Whittaker continues to satisfy with its unique Night Kitchens, conveniently located on each floor. Stocked with beverages and assorted snacks including the very popular Albanese gummy bears made in Indiana, these self-serve spaces ensure guests can enjoy a late-night treat or cup of coffee and tea whenever the craving strikes. There is also an assortment of homemade cookies in the Gathering Room for guests to enjoy throughout the stay.
From our team: Words can't express how delicious their cuisine is. Their crab cakes are amazing and what one would expect from a restaurant out east off the coast of Maryland. A favorite of many is their beer battered fish and chips. Chef Andrew is from England, and has curated the best of the best fish and chips! And their afternoon tea offers not only sweet teas, fabulous scones, small sandwiches, and dessert, but a reason to get a little dressed up and be fancy! Every item we have ordered at The Whittaker has been fabulous!
