Pearl of the Wabash

Artist Esteban Garcia. The sculpture is part of a three component series of public art focused on elements of the Wabash River. The artwork is a representation of an endangered riverine mussel. This 3-D printed, concrete sculpture will feature a light program that changes color with data points collected from measurements of the Wabash River. Pearl of the Wabash was developed with the artist group, through Purdue art & design students, the WL Public Arts Team and community members at various public events, including Riverfest.
