U-pick blueberries only. The field is planted to bluegrass and mowed on a weekly basis so there is NEVER any mud. This is NOT a traditional blueberry farm, but more like picking in a city park. There is ample close parking. There is usually shade for picking since the picking hours are only M-F from 5:30 pm until 9 pm and Saturday 8 am until 12:00 pm. There are multiple varieties of high bush Michigan blueberries. The picking season lasts about 8 weeks starting in late June until late August. Picking is controlled by the row to provide the customer with the freshest berries. Customers are provided with a bucket with a plastic bag which they can use to take the berries home in.
