Exploration Acres is Northwest Indiana's Largest Corn Maze. Visit in September and October to explore the 23-acre corn maze with over 10 miles of twists and turns, take a hayride, fire the corn cannon and dive into a mound of straw. Pick pumpkins straight from the vine, rent a fire pit and enjoy a variety of other family-friendly fall activities.
Facility Information: Barn Capacity: 250 with tables and chairs. The 4000 sq. ft. all wood, post and baean barn at Exploration Acres was built in 1928 and is a warm setting for an authentic farm wedding. It is available for weddings and receptions from April through mid August. The barn is not available for private weddings or parties, September through October, when the corn maze and pumpkin patch is open to the public. Each rental includes the use of folding tables and chairs for up to 200 people. NEW modern, climate controlled, restrooms are also included. They are conveniently located near the barn. Hayrides, fire pits, picnic tables, straw bales, oak barrels, the woods and country store may also be rented for an additional charge.
