Come walk the historic Plank Road and hear the colorful tales of the people who lived and worked there. Learn about the community with local historians who will be on hand to share stories and answer questions about notable locales like the Box Car Colony, the famous Junction House, and the old Towpath where donkeys and horses would tow canal boats along. Canal Historian, Dan McCain, will give a presentation on the Wabash & Erie Canal at 2 pm at Karma Industries, 525 Wabash Avenue, and an arrangement  of local artifacts will be on display.
