My Favorite Things – New Work by Sherri McGlothlin, Sept. 20-Nov. 1
Opening September 20, 6-9 p.m. at Artists’ Own, 518 Main St., Lafayette
Sherri McGlothlin is presenting a combination of paintings, drawings, and monoprints, of those things which inspire her, such as Indiana skies, fields, her cats, the flowers in her garden and watching people, trying to capture a look or gesture.
“Creating is the way I make sense of my world. I work through complicated thoughts and feelings in the studio. I make pictures of things that lift my spirits. These are some of my favorite things.”
