Or do you live in this area and are looking for entertainment close by? Check out the endless possibilities for fun and relaxation happening this upcoming weekend in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana. Start the weekend off with a night of live music as FoamCity and the Tippecanoe Arts Federation present the OuterNet Music Series on Friday, March 8, at the Wells Community Cultural Center.  Outernet features emerging, boundary stretching nationally acclaimed artists and this Friday they are featuring the creative Latin avant-pop music of Helado Negro and Xenia Rubinos. Both nationally acclaimed artists have been featured on National Public Radio.  Helado Negro creates real-time soundscapes that fuse pop with contemporary electronic style and Rubinos rocks a unique blend of bi-lingual punk, soul and electronica.  A cash beer/wine bar will be available. This Saturday, March 9, join in all the fun at the Wolf Park Howl Night/Open House.  The Open House, taking place from 1 to 4 p.m. will be providing guided tours to all visitors, so that the community and out of town visitors can see their animals and learn about what Wolf Park has to offer. They will also be giving away a "Family Membership" and other great prizes! (BONUS: THIS EVENT IS FREE!)  In the evening at 7:30 p.m. visitors can listen to a lecture on wolf communication, while also having the opportunity to see some of the staff enter the enclosure and interact with the wolves of the main pack.  Best yet, the crowds of onlookers can have the chance to howl with the wolves!
