The music of Mozart can be enjoyed this Friday, October 11, at 7:30pm at the University Church.  The Bach Chorale Singers open their 49th season, performing Mozart Requiem, one of the beloved of all Classical masterpieces. Left unfinished upon his death, the Chorale, accompanied by chamber orchestra and soloists, will present a stylistically-informed performance using the completed edition of the work by Robert Levin.  This stunning and powerful work with orchestra and soloists will surely move you! Have a family with little ones? Be sure to get your tickets for a Little Engine that Could adventure!  The Little Engine That Could is coming to the Long Center for the Performing Arts this Sunday, October 13 at 3pm.  All aboard for family fun in this upbeat musical about a classic can-do character!  ArtsPower’s dynamic, song-filled adventure portrays Watty Piper’s timeless tale about hard work, determination, and the importance of working together.  Make sure you get there early as the Tippecanoe County Historical Association is showcasing a small exhibit on local railroad history at 2pm.  Also, the Boilermaker Xtra Special will be on hand for photos!
