Candlelight, Lessons and Carols! The Bach Chorale Singers perform this Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22, at First Baptist Church. A beloved program for the Christmas season, built around works old and new, and featuring Benjamin Britten’s, A Ceremony of Carols. This performance will get you in the holiday spirit if you are not already engaged in it!
Lights, lights and more lights! Take a drive along Historic Ninth Street Hill to find over 500 candles lining the streets of historic homes. This yearly tradition of candles being lit along this historic street is a favorite of many. Starting at 6pm the candles are lit and generally will last into the early morning. It really makes the holidays come to life and shows the festive air of happiness felt by many! Do not miss the 9th Street Hill Luminaria!
