Enjoy the arts and great music? The Starry Night Festival is the place to be this Saturday, September 21, to listen to live music, create hands on art projects, discuss social issues, and have a really good time. This annual event is a venue for artistic and creative expression and participation that includes music, art and marketplace. The musical line-up this year includes Carielle, Marc Imboden & Friends, and Tate Kirgiss. This special event takes place from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight and this year's cause is in support of "Read to Succeed" to raise awareness about how we can positively impact the community around the Purdue campus.
On Saturday, September 21, Wolf Park is hosting their Fifth Annual Walk for Wolves event. Spend the day celebrating wolves, and Wolf Park's commitment to saving our natural world. All morning walkers will stroll around this beautiful, unique park seeing the wolves, foxes, coyotes and bison up close and personal! Join honorary Chairman, Jeff Smith, from WLFI TV 18, emcee, Brittany Rayburn, local Purdue basketball star, and famous entertainer, Scott Greeson & Friends as they participate in this special event. Silly Safaris will have a show featuring some live animals and The Outpost Catering will be here serving up lunch including drink and desert for only $5! Plus, all participating walkers will receive FREE ADMISSION to Wolf Park for the remainder of the day.
