Check out the endless possibilities for fun events happening this upcoming weekend in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana. Football fever is hitting Boilermaker country again this weekend!  This equals another fun Friday Night Boiler Up at the Boiler Bridge Walk!  Bring the family on Friday, November 1, to meet Boilermaker football players cross the bridge to cheers from loyal fans.  The Purdue pep band, Purdue Pete, Purdue cheerleaders, and the Boilermaker Special will show their team spirit and get fans excited for the upcoming day when Purdue takes on Ohio State.  On Saturday, make sure you do not miss the big game!  The way we celebrate is tailgating before the game to enjoy good food and camaraderie with all sports fans!  Then 30 minutes before the game starts, we head to Ross Ade to make sure we do not miss one minute of the action! Boiler up!

Don't have tickets for the game?  And are you more in the mood for an afternoon of music and song? On Saturday, November 3, at 3pm, over 200 children’s voices will sing to celebrate the works of Hoosier composers during the Youth and Children Concert - Indiana Voices in Song Choral Festival. Visiting community children’s choruses and area community and private school children will join the Bach Chorale Children’s Choirs in this concert of Hoosier greats. The music of Cole Porter and Hoagy Carmichael as well as contemporaries such as James Mulholland, Malcolm Dalglish and Mary Goetze, will be featured.  Do not miss this opportunity to celebrate this genre of music taking place at Lafayette Jefferson High School.
