Weekend Update! Looking for a fun Indiana weekend getaway? Or do you live in this area and are looking for entertainment close by? Check out the endless possibilities for fun events happening this upcoming weekend in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana.
This Saturday, August 2, head downtown for the annual special event, OUTfest. The afternoon and evening will feature live bands and DJs, local food vendors, information booths, beer gardens, a family area, dancing, light hearted drag entertainment, extended hours for some local downtown businesses, and much more! The fee to enter is $5 for adults, $3 for students and children 12 and younger are free.
Check out some of the greatest Purdue Men's Basketball Alumni compete once again in Mackey Arena this Saturday, August 2 at the Purdue Men's Basketball Alumni Game. Legendary former head coach Gene Keady will return to Mackey to coach one of the squads, while current Boilermaker head coach Matt Painter will guide the other. The winningest coach in Purdue history, Keady led the Boilermakers to six Big Ten championships, including back-to-back-to-back titles from 1994 to 1996.
