We love the weekend after New Year's because the annual "Nutcracker" performance takes place. On January 7 & 8 the Lafayette Ballet Company presents the full length ballet of the Nutcracker. Music by P.I.Tchaikovsky, and luscious period costumes and sets highlighted by the exuberant dancing of the young Lafayette Ballet Artists along with guest artists and graduates. Don't miss this night of merriment!
It's January and that means we are in the middle of one of the greatest sports in history, basketball! Purdue basketball rules the area with its competitive fun. Cheer on our Lady Boilers on Saturday, January 7, as they take on Penn State at Mackey Arena. The following day, our Purdue Men's Basketball Team takes on Big Ten rival Wisconsin. Fill the stands at Mackey and applaud our teams onto victory!
