Where can you find three stages of music, outdoor food, beer, and wine sales as well as street performers, sidewalk chalk and hand made hula hoops, drum circles and DJ's, belly dancers, and balloon animals? Mosey Down Main Street is where! This Saturday, August 9, our local artistic community presents this fun, FREE event for visitors and locals to enjoy. Head downtown for all the special entertainment!
Looking for an outdoor, interactive activity this weekend? Get your exercise in a cool pool with water walking at the Prophetstown State Park Aquatic Center this Saturday, August 9. Enjoy walking through the lazy river, which is 36 inches deep, ideal for low-impact, resistance walking. (Please note: participants must be 13 years or older.) It is a great way to work off some calories while enjoying the beautiful prairie grasses and flowers! The pool is only open for one more month, so make sure you head there soon!
