On Saturday, May 11, you can enjoy this month's Mosey Down Main Street! This event is one of a series of street celebrations brought to you by the local artistic community. Volunteers, downtown business owners, artists and musicians come together once a month from May through September to offer a free family friendly event that takes place right down the center of Main Street. It runs from 6PM to 11PM. Enjoy the three stages of music, outdoor food, beer, and wine sales as well as street performers, sidewalk chalk and hand made hula hoops, drum circles and DJ's, belly dancers, and balloon animals.
The Art Museum's second annual Art, Bark 'n Brew is back on Saturday, May 11, from 11AM to 2PM. There will be so many great offerings - food trucks, EMTfoodtruck, The Guac Box, and Rtb Chefs, local craft beer from Thieme & Wagner Brewery, and live music by TJ Rosa and Fergus Daly Band! Activities will include prize drawings, pup friendly arts and crafts, and more! It runs from 11AM to 2PM. New this year will be a judged art show for grades K-12 in partnership with Greater Lafayette Kennel Club. The theme of the show is "Dogs with Jobs" and the winners from the show will be on display at the event.
