If you want to have some fun getting active this weekend, join in on the Family Fun Run this Saturday, March 30th. Bring your family and enjoy a fun 1 mile run (or walk) through campus. Friends of all ages, dogs on leashes, bikes, strollers, and wagons are welcome! Race-day check-in will begin at 8:00am and the 1 mile walk/run will start at 9:15am. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Patty Jischke "Kids Are The Future" Endowment! The race will start at the Purdue University Early Care and Education Center and end at the Miller Child Development Lab School. The Boilermaker Special Train will be on site to give rides from the finish line back to the starting line! To register or donate, visit their website here. Friday nights are for live music! Join the fun at Nine Irish Brothers in Lafayette for an enjoyable evening filled with laughter, conversation, and upbeat, rollicking music - all provided by none other than Greater Lafayette's own Traveler's Dream. This quartet specializes in Celtic as well as early American and Canadian traditional music, and they set the bar for traditional music--outstanding fiddle, guitar, ulleann pipes, tin whistle, and more. You can't get any closer to a night in a pub in the old country unless you're right smack in the middle of the Ring of Kerry. Starting at 6pm on Friday, March 29th, enjoy a uniquely Irish experience!
