This Friday, August 7 marks the 47th year, Lafayette will be host to the Colt World Series at Loeb Stadium. This season 10 teams will be competing for the championship from across the globe. Also for the 4th consecutive year, MTC Sports will be providing live coverage of the Colt World Series starting with Game 1 on Friday, August 7. Good luck to all the baseball players competing! It is sure to be another exciting year!
Have you ever been to an ice cream social? You can! This Sunday, August 9, the Farm at Prophetstown State Park is throwing an ice cream social. Enjoy an afternoon with homemade ice cream and good company. Tour The Farm and experience all that Prophetstown has to offer including feeding the livestock, collecting eggs, and working in the garden. In addition, this event is free with park admission.
