This weekend, there are two big events happening at Wolf Park! The wolf and other wildlife sanctuary is home to some of the most interesting and beautiful animals to be found in Lafayette! First on Friday, April 20th at 6:00 PM is the Cookout Howl Night! Admission for adults is just $10 to this special anniversary event. Celebrate with a hotdog cookout - arrive at 6 PM to roast hotdogs (and veggie dogs) over a campfire. Those over 21 can enjoy a brew, and desserts will be available for purchase. Listen to the staff tell stories about Wolf Park through the years then join in the Howl Night at 7:30 PM.
The next day, Saturday, April 21st, is another day of celebration at Wolf Park! All wolves, foxes, and coyotes are born in the spring. The animals’ birthdays are all within a couple of weeks of each other around late April/early May, so get ready for one big celebration! Each animal gets their own tasty, wolf-safe birthday treat to enjoy. Previous birthdays have included cakes, frittatas and piñatas! Join everyone this year to see what treats they will be surprised with! Guests will have the chance to watch as the cakes are presented to the wolves. Each animal approaches this environmentally enriched activity with his or her own special flair. Come say "happy birthday" to Lafayette's beloved animals!
