The Kentucky Opera joins the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra in a concert version of The Marriage of Figaro, an irrelevant romantic comedy. The philandering Count Almaviva plans to sully the marriage of Figaro and the lovely Susanna – but not if they have anything to say about it. Add an uptight Countess, a pubescent pageboy, and music by Mozart and his librettist Da Ponte, and you have a recipe for a delightful evening of light-hearted scandal.
