On Friday, April 6th is the Wabash Center's 65th Anniversary Gala. Celebrate decades of serving the community! From 6-10pm, you can join in the Gala that highlights 65 years of service to children and adults with disabilities in Greater Lafayette. The evening will consist of a cocktail hour, dinner, silent auction, awards presentation, live music and much more! Boiler Con 2018 is our own comic con - come and meet amazing comic book artists and writers, take part in card and board game tournaments, see the unique vendors, sign up for the cosplay contest, and enjoy panels of special guests on April 7! Stop into the Purdue Memorial Union on April 7th from 3-8pm to experience all there is to offer! (And, it is FREE to the public!) Special guests include: Bernard Chang, former Imagineer and Comic Book Creator Mackey McCandlish: Creator of Call of Duty games. If you plan on attending, please be aware of the following rules:
  •  No profanity allowed. That includes messages on signs or clothes.
  • Costumes cannot promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, or firearms/weapons.
  • NO WEAPONS. All firearms/weapons, real or props, are prohibited from the event.
  • Costumes cannot be obscene or offensive, or endorse any form of hate.
  • NO NUDITY. All costumes should provide enough coverage to be worn in public and should be in good taste and appropriate for a family-friendly environment.
  • If costumes are deemed too revealing, you will be asked to cover up.
  • Gore and graphic violence must be minimal.
