It's Valentine's Day this weekend! Take your sweetheart out for a fun, memorable night! Check out what is going on during our special Valentine's Weekend Update! What is better than wine, art and food? Nothing! Celebrate this special evening on Friday, February 14, at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette's 5th Annual Heart of Art Wine Tasting event. Enjoy six fine wines, presented by Anthony Cawdron, which will be paired with gourmet small plates, selected and prepared by the manager and the head chef at the Lafayette Country Club. A silent auction of fine art, wines and special events and tours begins with a walk-around reception in the Ball Room. Guests will then be seated in the dining rooms, where the wines are poured and dinner plates served. At each new pouring, three items will be auctioned live by auctioneer, Dan Baker.
Looking for a memorable and romantic way to treat your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day? Purdue Jazz Band, the top jazz ensemble of the band department, presents an Evening of Romance on February 15, 2014, at Four Points by Sheraton in West Lafayette. The evening is complete with sultry jazz music, dancing, and desserts, as well as coffee drinks and a cash bar.
