Coyote Crossing Golf Club offers an unforgettable golfing experience to players of all skill levels. This Hale Irwin designed golf course opened in 2000 and has garnered spectacular reviews, including a 4 ½ star rating from Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play.” Offering breathtaking views of both open meadows and mature wooded areas, every hole presents a unique challenge. Driving your golf cart up to the tee box on hole nine, my personal favorite, you see a heavily guarded fairway and realize you’re in for a fun challenging hole. Your tee shot appears daunting as you stare down a chute that has wooded area to your left and several more trees to your right. The window to squeeze your shot into the landing zone is very small to set-up the perfect approach shot. Many golfers will choose to lay-up here to play it safe, but I always end up going for it, even though it gets me in trouble more times than not. Once you get through the trees, you have scenic approach shot into a large green that is surrounded by large bunkers on every side, a pond to your left and the clubhouse in the background. This championship course offers its own twist and turns on every hole to keep you on your toes. Once you get a taste of this challenging, yet rewarding golf course, you will be back for more.
