This Saturday and Sunday, is a weekend not to be missed in West Lafayette, Indiana! It is the Purdue Spring Fest annual event showcasing the lighter side of higher education. This free event is a great opportunity to learn about animals, art, astronomy, science and much more!
Have you ever experienced a cricket spitting contest or watched a cockroach race? You can at the annual Purdue Bug Bowl, the largest known insect event of its kind! Preschoolers through retirees take part in numerous hands-on insect activities, including an insect petting zoo and a honey tasting room.
Support cancer research at Purdue University at the Challenge Walk/Run this Saturday, April 14. Gather a group of friends and family to walk or run together. 100% of the money raised goes directly to support cancer research at the Purdue Center for Cancer Research. Also, yummy, nourishing food and drinks are provided to participants after the race! (And they are free!).
