Memorial weekend brings many fun events in Lafayette-West Lafayette! This Saturday, May 25, join art lovers traverse the courthouse square during the "Round the Fountain Art Fair". This is one of the best one-day outdoor art shows in the Midwest featuring paintings, sculptures, pottery, photography prints, jewelry and other media. Plus, it is strawberry season in Indiana, and there is usually a strawberry shortbread stand! Admire the diverse range of art throughout the day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Added bonus: the event is free!
On Saturday, May 25, in the evening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., learn about craft beers and howl with the wolves at the "Wolf Park & People's Brewery Present: BREW ON THE BRIDGE". For the second year in a row, Wolf Park is partnering with People's Brewery, South Street Smokehouse & the Woodstove Flapjacks for a special outdoor concert in the park! This is a twenty-one and older event. South Street Smokehouse will provide delicious pulled beef and People’s Brewery will be serving their craft beer. Don't drink? No problem, other drinks will be available for $1! Come out, enjoy some BBQ and listen to great music under the stars. The Woodstove Flapjacks will perform starting at 7:30 pm. Will the wolves 'sing' along? You have to go to Wolf Park to find out! Bring along your own chairs or blankets. Advance tickets on sale through May 24 for only $10 at www.wolfpark.org.
