[caption id="attachment_2185" align="alignright" caption="Moses Fowler House"][/caption] This Saturday, September 8, join in the merriment at the "River City Grapes & Hops Fest" taking place in Lafayette.  Visitors can taste products from local breweries and wineries on the grounds of the beautiful Moses Fowler House. There will be music and food along with local hobby groups sharing their interest and passion for home brewing and wine making along with other experts. You can roam the interior of the historic Moses Fowler House to see displays on some of the early Lafayette breweries which will include artifacts from the Tippecanoe County Historical Association's permanent collection and private collectors. An auction will also be held providing an opportunity to purchase wine and brew themed items. A main highlight of the auction will be an original painting by Hilary Eddy on a growler bottle. After your afternoon of wine and beer tasting, visitors can head over to the "St. Boniface German Fest." It will be an evening of fun for the entire family!  There will be German food, soft drinks, deserts, beer tents, a wine garden, amusement rides, a casino, and more. A 12 piece band from Indianapolis, the famous "Polkaboy," will be playing a wide range of music.  Is anyone as big of a fan as I am of this band?  "Polkaboy" is a band that literally make you want to jump up from your seat and dance and sing all night long.  They are funny and make your heart light with merriment.  Do not miss a night of amazing food and dancing at the "St. Boniface German Fest."
