I have been to Puccini's many times and every visit has been great, but my most recent visit was the best.  My girlfriends and I were meeting up to grab a quick bite to eat and then head across the street to Wabash Landing 9 to watch the new Batman movie, Dark Night Rises. We were so pumped to see the new movie.  We told our waitress where we were headed and she said she would make sure we made it on time.  When ordering, I asked her advice on what to order and she gave truthful recommendations.  She shared the spinach artichoke dip was superb and she was straight on.  It was the perfect blends of rich cheeses, fresh spinach and artichokes and the amazing part was there was not a speck of grease (which made our bellies thank her later!). This waitress, whose name I sadly do not remember, was outstanding!  For my entree, after I shared I was not extremely hungry and would be heading over to a movie after dinner so any left-overs would go bad in my car, recommended I order the children's portion of the chicken fettuccine.  (Note: this is not the norm, but this waitress listened to what I wanted and suggested the best choice.)  May I ask you, how many times have you ever had a waiter or waitress recommend something that will make your bill smaller?  Usually servers try to get diners to spend more money so they get larger tips.  This young lady was honest and her recommendation was perfect.  The chicken fettuccine was creamy, very filling and the chicken was cooked perfectly.  For her truthfulness, I left her an extra large tip and I will be heading to Puccini's more often to eat their scrumptious food.
