It's almost 2020! Wow! Where has the year gone? Lafayette-West Lafayette has been home to so many fabulous events and 2020 will be no exception. We are starting the year off with a few fabulous, local events, taking place on New Year's Day. Check them out:
- First Day Hike at Propehtstown State Park
- Start the year off right with a first day hike at Prophetstown State Park! Join us! See state park website for details on meeting location .
- Hours: 10:30am-12pm
- Location: Prophetstown State Park, 5545 Swisher Road, West Lafayette
- Second Day Hike at Propehtstown State Park
- Couldn’t quite get outdoors on New Year’s Day? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! This hike will follow trail 1 towards Prairie View Picnic Area. We will then link up with the bike trail and walk back. The hike is just over 1 mile in length over easy terrain. Dress for the weather! Just like on New Years there will be hot drinks and cookies at the Visitor’s Center! Pick up a 2020 Indiana State Park pass while you’re here! Free gate admission, snacks included. Park at the Meadow View Picnic Area.
