Set in the 1940s in the fictional town of Homan, Indiana, the musical follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker and his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts—an Official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle. * Purdue Contemporary Dance Company: Winter Dance Works at Yue-Kong Pao Hall, Purdue University, Friday, December 12 & Saturday, December 13 - Enjoy a night of dance and music that will get you in the holiday spirit. * "Wintry Mix" featuring Traveler's Dream at Fountain Gallery, Friday, December 12 - Wintry Mix is a two-week series of free lunchtime concerts by local performers.
