Taylor, past Visit Lafayette- West Lafayette Visitor Information Specialist and Purdue Graduate, experienced the whole Purdue college package. Starting her Freshman year, she rushed Pi Beta Phi, declared her hospitality and tourism management major, welcomed the college world that offered opportunities of a lifetime, and blessed Visit Lafayette-West Lafayette as an outstanding worker. Her Senior year, Taylor had the chance to work abroad in CHINA! With her smarts, generous personality, and love of adventure, she spent 7 months as a Management Trainee in a 5 star hotel, V-Continent Beijing Parkview Wuzhou Hotel, located in Beijing, China (situated closest to the Birds Nest Olympic Stadium.) Taylor shares, "I never would have imagined a small town Indiana girl like myself ever having the opportunity to not only travel abroad, but actually live and work there for 7 months. Purdue has allowed me to experience and learn things that I never could have in a classroom. My job at Visit Lafayette – West Lafayette has also prepared me in ways I never expected. These 4 years I have learned, laughed, and loved. Travels and diversity at home and abroad have opened my eyes to our amazing world! I am heading off to Austin, Texas, and so excited for what the future brings!"
