If so, you may have visited Imagination Station! Imagination Station is a hands-on, interactive museum where children and their families can explore the world of space, science, engineering, and technology.  All ages become involved in exploration and active learning with the ever changing exhibits.  Displays are used to depict the past, highlight changes in the present, and build excitement and anticipation about future possibilities.  Permanent exhibits include a 1920s fire engine, an active beehive, flight simulators, a special preschool activity area, an unfix-it table, a mag racer and wind tunnel. [caption id="attachment_4811" align="alignleft" ]1 Fitness Challenge![/caption] Recently, Imagination Station has renovated and added new exhibits. Step on the newly renovated fire truck, check out animal x-rays and heal broken bones at their Animal Hospital, and take part in their Hot Dog's Fitness Challenge and Stair and Punching Bag Challenge. If you and your family love to learn this is the place to visit. I recently took my nephews (ages 4 & 7) here when they were visiting from Arizona. They had a blast checking out the exhibits and spent the majority of the visit on the fire truck racing through imaginary streets fighting fires. Imagination and science meet to create a world of wonder for young minds. The museum is located at 600 North 4th Street in downtown Lafayette.  Workshops, group tours, and a unique gift shop are also available.  For more information about Imagination Station and other museums in our area visit our website at www.HomeOfPurdue.com.
