Celebrate diversity this Saturday, August 31, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. during Global Fest at the Morton Community Center. Ethnic food, imported handcrafts, free entertainment and cultural booths will highlight this day of fun. Bring the kids to learn about the diverse cultures our community has to offer and to taste the different selections of ethnic cuisine.

Come out and celebrate the last Mosey Down Main Street for the summer season this Saturday, August 31, from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. This evening of fun includes three stages of music, outdoor food, beer, and wine sales as well as street performers, sidewalk chalk and hand made Hula hoops, Drum circles and DJ's, belly dancers, and balloon animals. The site to watch is the belly dancers as they sway and move to the beat of drummers. Also, many of the local shops stay open late to give visitors an opportunity to browse and purchase the perfect gift.
