  • On October 30, be prepared to be scared at An Evening with Poe at the Delphi Opera House. Chilling tales by the master of horror Edgar Allan Poe in a radio play with live sound effects performed by Lafayette Civic Theatre actors, written by Arliss Jeffries, directed by Kris Kazmierczak. Appropriate for middle school to adult.
  • October 30 - Trunk or Treat at St. Andrews UMC and Calvary Baptist Church
  • Take a quick run through a straw bale maze, then visit an 18-acre corn maze with over 8 miles of twists and turns (the largest corn maze in northwest Indiana!) at Exploration Acres.
  • Zombies in training, little ghouls and goblins are encouraged to trick or treat at participating downtown businesses during Operation Trick or Treat on October 30.
  • Slime making, flashlight glow-in-the-dark find, and face painting! Where? Malone's Gymnastic Center during Halloween Hullabaloo on October 30.
  • On October 30 the Lafayette Ballet Company and School present All Hallows Eve, a ballroom repertory concert of original works to music by Mussorgsky, Saint-Saëns, Schumann.
  • Pumpkins, gourds, fall decorations, bake sale, mums and more! Great Pumpkin Patch at Congress Street Church.
  • Take a hike on the bike trail, starting at the Prairie View Picnic Area at Prophetstown State Park and find the Trail of Scarecrows. Each scarecrow was designed by someone in the community – a business, an organization, a family and more.
  • Each year around Halloween, Adams Mill is decorated and becomes a haunted, scary place.  Hundreds of visitors come from near and far to be scared!  Take a guided tour on October 31 through the ghostly three floors of the Mill which reveal many spine-tingling experiences.
  • Photo booth, goodie bags, & safe family fun on Halloween night!  Halloween Family Cosmic Bowling at Mike Aulby's Arrowhead Bowl.
  • Come out for a spooktacular time on October 31 to the Purdue Latino Center: Spooktacular at Carnahan Hall.
  • The official Trick-or-Treating night for Lafayette and West Lafayette is Halloween night, October 31. There are no set hours, but recommended end time is 9pm.
