Festival Weekend Fun Update! Looking for a fun Indiana weekend getaway? Or do you live in this area and are looking for entertainment close by? This is the weekend we have been waiting for in Lafayette-West Lafayette because it is full of exciting, entertaining festivals that will bring joy and laughter to so many people.
2 major festivals are taking place this weekend, OUTfest and Global Fest! On Saturday, September 17, from 4-midnight, head downtown Lafayette, to participate in a celebration of diversity for all. OUTfest features live bands and DJs, food, information booths, beer gardens, a family area, dancing, light-hearted drag entertainment, extended hours for local downtown businesses, and much more! The fun doesn't stop there! Also on Saturday from 11-7pm, celebrate our diverse ethnicity at Global Fest in West Lafayette. In its 21st year, Global Fest is heading outdoors. This festival will take place on Columbia and Chauncey Streets as the backdrop for the celebration! Enjoy and explore world cultures through music, dance, crafts, displays and international food. Continuous stages of entertainment, cultural displays and children's activities are among the free activities. Don't forget to get your passport stamped! Admission is free.
