Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana, is hosting 4 fabulously fun contests this year. This contest is featuring a "Family Fun Getaway" to our wonderful cities. The competition started on Monday, July 16, and we want to share why each business who has donated to these packages is so great!
Homewood Suites: This hotel offers suites (separate living room/bedroom), fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, complimentary breakfasts and an evening welcome reception.
Bruno's Pizza: Established in 1955, this restaurant not only offers some of the best pizza around, but fine dishes such as Veal Cordon Bleu, Fettuccini A La Bruno (classic fettuccini with tender shrimp), and amazing manicotti with the perfect blend of cheeses.
Dog n Suds: This drive-in features the world’s creamiest Root Beer served in incredible frosted mugs as well as world famous Coney Dogs.
Kathy's Kandies: Local chocolatier, Kathy, creates homemade truffles, gourmet popcorn, cakes, toffee, shakes and smoothies, licorice, and artisan chocolates!
Silver Dipper: An ice cream shop (2 locations) that offers delicious ice cream, shakes, sundaes and more.
Tropicanoe Cove Water Park: This watery paradise features the spiraling Banana Peel tube slide, the leisurely Cattail Crik, and a place to cool off during this hot and humid summer.
All Fired Up: Pick your own unfinished pottery (from a selection of 300 pieces) to paint, glaze and decorate. The All Fired Up staff will fire it up in their kiln and you will have a beautiful hand-crafted creation (within a week)!
Prophetstown State Park: Indiana's newest state park offers hiking and biking trails, campgrounds, and Historic Prophetstown where guests can learn about horse powered farming.
Grateful Heart Gallery & Gifts: 5 artists have joined together their one-of-a-kind art and fine hand-crafted gifts in one gallery for visitors to admire and purchase.
Wolf Park: This park offers guests an opportunity to see and visit not only wolves and see how they live, but bison, coyotes, and foxes!
