Weekend Update!  Looking for a fun Indiana weekend getaway?  Or do you live in this area and are looking for entertainment close by?  Check out the endless possibilities for fun and relaxation happening this upcoming weekend in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana.   This weekend marks the end of the fall festivities at Exploration Acres.  This year has been an exciting year at the 18 acre corn maze with the introduction of a few new attractions; the Gem Mine, Pony Rides, and Pumpkin Decorating/ Race.   A Visit Lafayette-West Lafayette staff member shared she took her granddaughter to visit this year, and she was so excited to ride on the little ponies.  Better yet, this little girl is very artsy and used her skills to create a pumpkin decorated with stickers and colorful markers.  The family all joined in the fun and ventured into the 18 acre corn maze.  They got lost only a dozen times but came out laughing and excited about the rewards from local businesses they received by finding the different stations along the way.  Do not miss out this family fun activity this weekend.  (It won't be back until next August!) If you are in the mood for a fright this Friday and Saturday, look no further than "The Woman in Black: A Ghost Story" presented by the Lafayette Civic Theatre.  This frightening play will have you at the edge of your seat in suspense.  A lawyer hires an actor to tutor him in recounting to family and friends a story that has long troubled him concerning events that transpired when he attended the funeral of an elderly recluse. There he caught sight of the woman in black, the mere mention of whom terrifies the locals, for she is a specter who haunts the neighborhood where her illegitimate child was accidentally killed. Anyone who sees her dies!  Does this sound terrifying or what!?
