Can’t make it to the golf course because it’s too late? The weather is too hot or too cold. Or maybe you want to play a round at world famous Bethpage Black in New York. Net Par is the perfect place to play golf alone, or with a group of friends or family.

Net Par

Net Par is an indoor golf simulator powered by Trackman technology. They have several bays available for reservations, as well as walk-ins. You can rent a bay from 1-4 hours depending how long you intend to play.

The simulators are full of different playing options. You have the choice of playing regular golf with hundreds of different course options with many PGA tour courses, par-3s, driving ranges, and even mini-games. When I played my round, I chose to play Bethpage Black, as that is where the 2025 Ryder Cup will be taking place. Thank goodness I was playing on the same lie every time or my score would have been a lot higher. The courses look the exact same as what you would see if you were there in person. It was fascinating to see how the technology can replicate real life so well.

The biggest plus is you do not have to walk or drive to your ball; once you hit the ball into the screen, the Trackman will use data to simulate what would have happened on an outdoor course. Once the ball lands, you are right up again, with the screen telling you the yardage to the pin, so you know which club to choose. I personally liked the par-3s as it helped work on my irons and wedges.

The most fun I had, however, was using the Trackman technology to get a reading on my ball speed, club speed, and my spin rate. It was eye-opening seeing how hard and far I hit my clubs compared to the pros.

If you are looking to have a private event Net Par would be happy to host. They have options to rent a bay for the day or take over the entire space. They welcome corporate events, birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or fundraisers.

After your round, you can stop in their bar for a drink and a small food menu. The menu includes the normal bar food like nachos and sandwiches.

When it comes to pricing, it is very reasonable for the technology and the experience. A one-hour bay rental begins at $40. When I played a one-hour round, I was able to finish 18-holes in that hour so comparatively speaking, it is the same price as a public course, and it takes a fourth of the time to play. If you don’t have your own clubs but still want to play, they have club rentals available for only $20.

If you are looking to save money at Net Par, they do have memberships available. A base one-year family membership comes with some great benefits. The membership comes with a 20% discount on lessons, complementary club fittings, one complementary entry into all leagues for all family members, complementary Net Par swag, and discounted club storage.

If you are interested in joining a league, they have a couple of different options. They have a public league option, women’s league, couple’s league, and finally a partner league.
