It’s summer and you know what that means! It’s time to head outside and enjoy all of our fantastic local disc golf courses! Purdue University has a great 18-hole course. It starts at that base of Slayter Hill Performing Arts Center and wraps around the intramural fields. Faith Community Center offers a course designed for either 9 or 18-hole play. Discs are available for checkout at the front desk along with a course map and scorecard. There is no charge to play but there is a $5 replacement fee for any discs that are lost. Murdock Park offers a fun but challenging 18-hole course. Eleven holes are through the rolling hills, trees, and mowed grass. Two par fours then lead you into a five-hole section of tightly wooded technical holes. The Wabash Washout at McAllister Park is the newest disc golf course. It’s a longer more open course that is surrounded by cart paths and ponds. It’s a great place to challenge yourself and have fun with friends and family. Get out and play disc golf this summer!
