Weekend Update! Looking for a fun Indiana weekend getaway? Or do you live in this area and are looking for entertainment close by? Check out the endless possibilities for fun and relaxation happening this upcoming weekend in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana.
Feel daring this weekend? This Friday, February 1, start the month off being adventurous at "Dare to Bear" at the Riverside Skating Center. You may ask, what exactly does "Dare to Bear" entail? It is a polar bear skate in which participants wear bathing suits. Please note Riverside Skating Center is OUTDOORS! February in Indiana is a bit chilly (to say the least), and this event will definitely be a venture! Personally, I will not be participating, but I will be an active fan on the sidelines cheering on those who do!
Looking for a special event for children? In Lafayette on Friday, February 1, bring your children to Long Center for the Performing Arts for "The Lollipop Concert". The Lafayette Symphony Orchestra is hosting a night of fun for children of all ages to learn about the instruments of the orchestra through two captivating musical stories. Journey from the jungle to the big city with Poulenc's Babar the Elephant. Then, dive into an action packed story of American history with Peck's Jack and Jill at Bunker Hill. Arrive early for the Instrument Petting Zoo!
