Duncan Hall is a wonderful meeting and wedding venue in downtown Lafayette. It features an elegant ballroom and auditorium that can seat up to 150 people banquet style or up to 220 theater style (including the 47 theater seats in the balcony). This room features hardwood floors, a curtained stage with a grand piano. Perfect for a business presentation or wedding reception. Throughout the building you will also find many smaller rooms that could be used for break out rooms for a small conference or a space for the bride and groom or the wedding party to get away from the crowd. Each room is themed just a little differently as well but keeping with the style of the building. There is not an on-site caterer, but groups are welcome to have a catered meal. There are several kitchens in the building and rental of china, glassware and utensils is available.

When looking for a local venue, be sure to add this to your list of places to check out! If you visit the Hall, be sure to ask about the history and look at the artifacts they have on display from Thomas Duncan’s 10,000 mile trip to Africa in 1921. Some of the history is outlined on their website as well: http://www.duncanhall.org/duncan_hall_history.html.
