Wanting to gain more knowledge on this beautiful complex, we asked Shane to take some time out his day to answer a few questions for us about his beloved property. Please check out his answers bolded in black. Provide Our Readers An Overview of the Golf Course/Property? Coyote Crossing was designed to incorporate all the natural terrain of this Northwest Indiana site. Located on 175 acres within easy access from Interstate 65 and the greater Lafayette area, the course is enhanced with lakes and Burnett's Creek, which meanders through the property. The scenic beauty of the area becomes an integral part of the Hale Irwin Design course. A public golf course, Coyote Crossing has appeal for all golfers. With five sets of tees on every hole, the course will offer a challenge for players of all caliber. Irwin describes the terrain as "near perfect, with views of open meadows to mature wooded areas". Yardage of the par 72 layout is 6839 yards from the exhibition markers to 4881 yards from the forward tees. SONY DSCIf Someone Was Looking To Golf In The Area, Why Should They Play Your Course? Coyote Crossing offers a different golf experience than any other facility in the area.  It is very scenic and offers fun to golfers of all ages and skill level.  Each hole produces a new challenge and beautiful scenery! What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course? The great benefit to playing Coyote Crossing is we are the only course in the are a with a state of the art Visage GPS System.  This shows you the layout of the hole and gives you your yardages to the green.  Most of the hazards are right before your eyes.  The key to playing this course well is not always length, but accuracy. What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole? Hole #8.  It is a beautiful 179 yard par 3 that is designed after “Amen Corner” at Augusta.  It is an elevated tee down to a green surrounded on two sides by water.  Just a very peaceful setting! Must Have Dish or Drink at your snack shop? We have been known to serve the best Cheeseburgers and Bloody Mary’s in Tippecanoe County.  We have people that frequent our course just to partake in these fabulous offerings!
