Scavenger Hunt Winner![/caption]
This past week we celebrated National Tourism Week at Visit Lafayette-West Lafayette. To celebrate, we hosted two fun social media contests: a Scavenger Hunt and an App Contest. Thank you to everyone who participated! We want to announce and congratulate our winners of these contests!
Scavenger Hunt Contest: Congrats to Zade Shaw! Zade shares, "My wife and I enjoyed meandering around Columbian Park, searching for the Scavenger Hunt "object" (which turned out to be a cannon). I was surprised when my name was announced as the winner of the hunt, and I really enjoyed telling my wife that we had won. The look on her face was priceless. I'm a med student and it's been hard for me to get away from the books this school year -- this prize will help us get out and have fun over the summer. What a blessing!! Thank you so much!!"
The winner of our App Contest is Daniel Sowers! He shared, "This is an excellent and easy way to check out everything my wife and I want to know about the area. Dining, events, hotels, etc. are displayed in an easy App on my phone. Being new to the area we are trying to experience everything and this has become our one-stop shop to figure out what to do next!"
