Teays River Brewing Co. and Pub House One of the newest breweries in greater Lafayette, Teays River Brewing Co. and Pub House pairs its fresh hand-crafted beer with delightful foods and appetizers. Tapping around a dozen fresh brewed beers, Teays offers anything from its lighter drinking Camelop Cream Ale to its strong Maneater Double IPA.  Teays also has a full menu, including some of the best smoked chicken wings in town. With plentiful outdoor seating and large pub house, Teays is the place for the whole family. Brokerage is a friendly environment that offers many social events each month. The first and third Thursday of each month there is live music along with trivia night the fourth Tuesday of the month; the last Sunday of each month is celebrated with “beer and hymns.” Location: 2516 Covington Street. People’s is a smaller relaxed taproom that offers a generous amount of Lafayette’s favorite beer. Opened in 2009 this small taproom keeps a dozen beers available and offers tours of the brewery each week. People’s brews seven flagship beers and numerous seasonal beers. People’s is the only brewing company in town with a mass production line. With this you can not only take People’s beer home with you, but also purchase it in most convenient and liquor stores along with restaurants in the community. Since 1993, 622 Main Street has been home to Lafayette Brewing Co. LBC is Lafayette’s first brewing company and second in the state of Indiana. LBC offers a spacious taproom and dining room open to all ages. With a generous selection of beers, LBC is known for its classic beer styles and recipes. From a Doc Baileys Bitter to a Star City Lager, LBC offers wonderful mixes of caramel malts and crisp lagers. But you can’t leave out their food. From a tasteful Scotch Egg starter to a West Coast BLT, LBC carries a full menu that makes it  one of the top places to dine around town. Location: 622 Main Street. The family recently started brewing beer as their ancestors did over 150 years ago. They opened their bar front a few years ago and serve wine, beer, and liquor as well as a light menu that includes steamed sandwiches. Location: 652 Main Street.
