Weekend Update! Looking for a fun Indiana weekend getaway? Or do you live in this area and are looking for entertainment close by? Check out the endless possibilities for fun and relaxation happening this upcoming weekend in Lafayette-West Lafayette, Indiana.
In Lafayette, Indiana, this Friday, July 13, join friends and family at the Gallery Walk, where various venues will be open downtown, featuring original art, live music and refreshments. Trolley rides will be transporting visitors between area attractions, shops and restaurants. Another fun option is to take a horse-drawn carriage ride (weather permitting) that will offer a great view of our lovely downtown. All venues are free and open to the public. (Anyone else love free events as much as we do!?)
Bring the family to the Annual Wabash Riverfest this Saturday, July 14, in West Lafayette! The day will start with the Clear-Blue-Green Business Riverfest 5K Run/Walk on the Banks of Wabash River followed by a Kids Parade at 9 a.m. The day will be full of excitement as people compete in boat races, shoppers browse at craft booths, while everyone enjoys lively entertainment and delicious food. If you are competing this weekend in a boat race, please share with us your expectations and enthusiasm for this upcoming event!
