IMG_0192Home to Big Ten Sports and home to local sports. Lafayette- West Lafayette is the perfect sized city for those individuals looking for a sports themed getaway. Three full days of adventure lie ahead of you in the “A Good Sport Tour” itinerary. Day One: Start early out on the cool water of Wildcat Creek and enjoy a two-hour scenic trip from Wildcat Canoe and Kayak Too. After the relaxing ride, head to the hotel and check in and change before the rest of the day’s adventure. Enjoy a late lunch at Nine Irish Brothers. After you are refueled, head to bowl a few games at Mike Aulby’s Arrowhead Bowl. Test your luck at bowling, arcade games and pool at this fun bowling center. After you feel elated from bowling fun, head to dinner at Bruno’s in the Big O’s Sports Room. Finally, end your evening howling with the wolves at Wolf Park. Staying on Purdue University’s campus, pop into the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center to test your strength on the 55- foot indoor climbing wall. Since you haven’t gotten enough air time, head over to Get Air Trampoline Park to jump your way to exhaustion. Spend your evening downtown Lafayette with dinner at DT Kirby’s. After a long day of play, recharge with a 911 burger such as the Grilled Cheese Burger or Da Bear Burger. Finally, head to Main Street Amusements to test your pinball skills before headed back to the hotel for the night. Then, head over the Haan Museum and explore the seven-mile intermediate bike trail. Enjoy your final meal at Lafayette Brewing Company, a local brewery. For the final round of competition, enjoy the spooky holes at Monster Mini Golf. Hopefully you come out of this three-day sporting adventure with at least one victory under your belt.
