  1. Congrats to the Purdue University Class of 2015 as they take the annual march for graduation on May 15-17.
  2. Stroll historic downtown Lafayette, where artwork, music, and occasional complimentary beverages or hors d'oeuvres may be sampled at the first Gallery Walk of the season on May 15. Also join everyone for an exhibition reception at the Tippecanoe Arts Federation as part of the Downtown Gallery Walk and an exhibition reception of the exhibit: Fresh Air at Artists' Own.
  3. In a hunting story to beat all hunting stories, Escanaba in da Moonlight, spins a hilarious tale of humor, horror and heart as Reuben goes to any and all lengths to remove himself from the wrong end of the family record book at the Lafayette Civic Theatre on May 15-17.
  4. May 15 is National Bike to Work Day! This year if you are in West Lafayette you can swing by Burtsfield School for coffee and some exciting giveaways from local businesses on your way into work.   5. Take a guided tour during the Haan Mansion Museum of Indiana's Art and enjoy historic architecture, massive American Renaissance Revival furniture, a stunning early Indiana art collection including works by T. C. Steele, and Indiana ceramics, glass and bronze works of art on May 16-17.
  6. On May 16, the Bach Chorale Singers are joined by five renowned soloists and a festival orchestra for this grand season finale; the Bach Chorale Singers 50th Anniversary Finale.
  7. The Purdue Varsity Glee Club will present its End of Season Concert on May 16 at the Long Center for the Performing Arts.
  8. Take a late night walking tour of Work Park, during their Wolf Park After Hours on May 16, where the howls of wolves and coyotes might accompany your stroll in the dark.  Frogs croak, insect's sing — see what comes out at night when you escape the city! Bring a flashlight for the walk, to help you see the glow of canine eyes in the distance. Sit by a campfire and enjoy the night sky. Roast a marshmallow, and listen as staff members tell you stories about working with wolves.

  10. Join TIPCOA and the Tippecanoe County Historical Association for an Open House showcasing the county's marriage records, family files and family history books on May 16 at the Genealogy Open House.
  11. Come out and support young entrepreneurs and stop by any of the participating lemonade stands through out the Lafayette Community on May 16 during Lemonade Day!
