Preservation of historic architecture is alive and well in downtown Lafayette.

Pickup an audio-tour of the Main Street area and find out about the buildings and interesting stories of earlier Lafayette. Or pick up a guide to the restored 1880s courthouse or a walking tour brochure of the town’s original plat! Several neighborhoods bordering the downtown are on the National Register of Historic Places and the houses and churches make for interesting viewing.
