| The Tippecanoe County Historical Association operates the Blockhouse museum located in the park. Call TCHA for hours of operation at 765-476-8411. TCHA conducts historical programs and demonstrations at the park, including the Feast of the Hunters' Moon, a re-creation of French and Indian life in the 17th Century. |
| Historic Five Points Fire Station Museum |

This 83-year-old building is new again as a fire station museum. The building has been restored to its 1937 heyday and will house a 1937 Arhnens-Fox fire truck that made runs from the station for more than 40 years. Inside you’ll be able to see what it was like to be a firefighter in the 1930s at the station as well as try on firefighter coats and helmets. For the history buffs, there is a plethora of photos, documents, newspaper clippings, run ledgers, and memorabilia on display that tell the history of the fire department in Lafayette. Call for hours.

This English Gothic style home was built in 1851-1852 by Moses Fowler. He was a cattle baron, merchant and banker and wanted a home to reflect his social status. The home was remodeled in 1916 by Moses’ grandson, Cecil Fowler. It was purchased from him in the early 1940s by the Tippecanoe County Historical Association. The Fowler House is currently closed for renovation and restoration of the historic house museum. The facility is still available for rentals.

Step back in time to visit this unique Standard Oil Service Station. Built in 1928 by the Stand Oil Company of Indiana, it pumped mostly Red Crown gasoline and sold and repaired Atlas Tires. Glazed brick from Attica, IN was used for the inside, outside and on all four walls plus red Ohio Quarry tile was used for the roof. Because of the expense of the materials to build the station, just seven of this design remain in the world today! The station houses numerous displays of automobile and service station memorabilia. Everything can be seen from the windows of this “walk-by” museum although it is open for some special downtown events.

Come explore the site of The Battle of Tippecanoe. walk the grounds where the conflict occurred, now a National Historic Landmark. Visit vivid museum displays that tell a story of two Shawnee brothers who had a dream of uniting many tribes into an organized defense against the White setters. Learn about life in the early 1800s and see artifacts of European and Native American cultures.
The 96-acre park also offers picnic areas, scenic hiking trails and a nature center.

Built in 1882, this is the third county courthouse to occupy the downtown square. When it was being built, the citizens of the county presented 45 pages of instructions for the builders to insure that it was a structure they would be proud of for years to come. And we are proud! Come see this architectural beauty, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Special tours can be arranged or pick up a self-guided walking tour brochure, available at our office.

| Adams Mill |

4640 S. 74 E., Cutler
Built in 1845, this mill was powered by turbines and ran until the 1950s. Around the curve from the mill stands a covered bridge, built in 1872, which was used as a thoroughfare for many travelers. This museum of Americana offers special events, festivals and activities on its peaceful and beautiful grounds.

Located in Canal Park along a section of restored canal, this new interactive Museum tells the story of the building of the Wabash & Erie Canal and how it affected Indiana and the local area during its 30 years of local operation. The Wabash & Erie Canal was the second longest canal in the world; the Grand Canal of China was the only one longer. Canal Park also has a historic village that is open for special events and programs throughout the year. Over 7 miles of historic trails have been developed for walking and biking; these include three National Register Sites connected with the canal.
