Historic Prophetstown is dedicated to showing, sharing and teaching about agriculture and horse powered farming. Discover the Native American Settlement and the Farmstead where valuable lessons are uncovered.

We are a real working farm. Although we use horse drawn farming, we practice modern day farming techniques.

We hope to educate, encourage and promote animal power combined with the latest equipment innovations in an effort to support sustainable small scale farming.

Explore the barn, barnyard, outbuildings, Indiana prairie and Native American Village. Meet the farm animals and maybe even milk a cow!

Indiana Foodways
The Alliance identifies and nurtures Indiana's varied community culinary heritages through education, partnerships, public relations and regional cooperation. While it began with the I-69 corridor, the Alliance has quickly grown into a statewide organization. Several food trails encompassing a variety of locally owned and operated restaurants throughout the state of Indiana can be found on their website including several from the Lafayette-West Lafayette area.

Triple XXX Family Restaurant is Indiana’s Oldest Drive-In Restaurant, On the Hill but on the Level since 1929.

A family (and student) favorite in West Lafayette, known for it’s Triple XXX Root beer and unique burgers, it was also featured on the Food Network’s hit show “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” with Guy Fieri. Triple XXX does not work well for bus groups due to the limited seating and covered parking; however, the Route 66 Diner has a very similar menu and a diner atmosphere and can accommodate groups very easily.
